1.2.1 Applications, Desktops, and Intranet Resources

Applications are individual programs or software packages that are installed on remote systems and that can be accessed by users via the Thinfinity® Workspace platform. They can range from simple productivity tools to complex enterprise software, such as intranet websites.

Desktops are complete virtual or physical desktop environments that users can remotely control through Thinfinity Workspace. This way, they access a familiar working environment where they can run applications, manage files, and perform other tasks as if they were sitting in front of a physical computer.

Terminals on remote systems can be accessed from a browser using Telnet/SSH protocol or the Cybele Software proprietary zScope Classic terminal emulator.
