11.1.4 OAuth2 Models Defaults
Thinfinity® Workspace provides a file named OAuth2Models.ini
, which is located in C:\Program Files\Thinfinity\Workspace\
.
This template tells Thinfinity® Workspace how to communicate with different identity providers (like Google, Facebook, etc.) to authenticate users. The standard protocol used for this communication is OAuth 2.0.
It allows Thinfinity Workspace to integrate with a wide range of modern and secure authentication services. By filling in the fields for a specific provider, you are setting up a secure digital "handshake" that allows your users to access their workspaces easily and without compromising their passwords. Each section of the template corresponds to a crucial step in the OAuth 2.0 workflow, from initiating the login request to getting the user's profile information to authorize their access.
In addition, if one of the options is deleted from the template, it will limit the services available to use with OAuth.
