3.1.1 Using a Web Browser

After installing Thinfinity® Workspace, you can access its web-based interface through your browser:

1

Open Your Favorite Browser

Thinfinity Workspace operates as a web application, meaning you can access it through any modern web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.

2

Enter the URL of Your Thinfinty Workspace Installation

If you are using an All components installation on your local computer for evaluation purposes, Thinfinity Workspace is accessible from the local machine using the localhost address:

http://127.0.0.1:9443

9443 is the default port used by Thinfinity Workspace but you can change this port at a later moment, and you can also add SSL/TLS certificates in order to securely access Thinfinity Workspace through HTTPS.

If you are using a distributed architecture, enter the URL of the server where you installed Thinfinity Workspace using the format:

https://[serverIP]:9443
3

Access the Web Interface

The first time you access Thinfinity Workspace, Allow anonymous access is enabled by default. The home page is displayed, and you can access the default access profiles: the Cybele Software home page and the product user guide.

If the Allow anonymous access option is disabled, the Log in page is displayed and you will have to enter your account credentials.

4

Start Exploring Thinfinity Workspace Home Page

For details on the user interface elements available, see User Interface Overview.
