7.3 Broker

Thinfinity Brokers serve as the central intelligence and orchestration components of the Thinfinity® Workspace architecture. They manage user sessions, authentication, and the distribution of workload.

Primary Broker

The Primary Broker functions as the centralized control node responsible for orchestrating and executing all virtualization processes necessary to establish secure connections between client endpoints and designated target destinations or applications. This architecture employs a centralized management model analogous to a jump server configuration.

Additionally, the system facilitates the deployment and registration of multiple Primary Broker instances within the Gateway infrastructure. This configuration enables distributed core management, authentication, and orchestration capabilities, while supporting high availability and redundancy to ensure operational resilience.

Secondary Brokers

Secondary Brokers are implemented to broaden operational capabilities, bolster system robustness, and optimize efficiency. In this scenario, Secondary Brokers launch and manage their own virtualization processes, one per each connection.

Secondary Brokers can be grouped into Broker Pools. This architectural configuration facilitates the sharing of an identical group of profiles and enables access to resources from any Broker within the pool, thereby assuring enhanced availability and fault tolerance.
