4.4 Publishing Applications

To publish a specific Windows application from a remote environment and provide tailored access to it, you need to create an Application Access Profile in Thinfinity® Workspace. An Access Profile defines the type of application being delivered and the method of access, as well as several other parameters.

An Application Access Profile can offer access to:

• A Windows App: a Windows application running on a remote computer using RemoteApp or Remote Program.

• ​A Windows App virtualized utilizing the proprietary Thinfinity® VirtualUI platform. VirtualUI Access Profile offers the possibility to control the original application's UI using proprietary technology and to manipulate UI elements in order to extend the application capabilities.
