Redirecting Devices

The Redirecting devices functionality allows users to seamlessly connect and use their local devices within remote sessions, providing a unified and enhanced experience. This set of features ensures that users can access essential local resources as if they were directly connected to the remote desktop or application.

• USB Redirection allows users to connect external USB devices to an endpoint and access them within a remote desktop or application. For details, see USB Redirection in our online Knowledge Base.

• Printer and scanner redirection enables printing directly from the remote session to a local printer, allowing users to produce physical documents from their remote applications without the need to perform file transfers. Note

Make sure to review the advanced server configurations and any relevant Group Policy settings before enabling this feature. Missing or incorrect system-level settings may prevent the feature from working as expected, even if it's enabled within Thinfinity Workspace.
