Detailed Audit Logging

The results of the logging process can be viewed in the Analytics module. Info such as security events, user activity, configuration changes, etc. is available in both qualitative and quantitative approach.

To access the Analytics module: Open the user menu and select the Analytics module to display the main Analytics page.

The following data categories are available: Sessions, Connections, Logins, Browsers, and File transfers. Click the corresponding tab in the upper right section of the page to see details.

Sessions Tab

The Sessions tab displays a catalog of sessions initiated within the current Thinfinity® Workspace deployment over the past 30 days. The default temporal scope can be modified to extend or contract the timeframe as needed.

For each session entry, the following attributes are presented: User Identifier, Source IP Address, Session Start Timestamp, Session End Timestamp, Number of Connections, and Actions Taken. Selecting a specific session reveals supplementary details, including Profile Name, Host Machine Address, Session Type (Kind), Assigned Username, and the associated Start and End timestamps, along with available Actions.

Filtering capabilities are accessible via the controls located in the upper section of the interface, permitting users to refine the session list using predefined criteria or by applying custom filters.

The adjacent panel provides a summary overview of total sessions and active connections, along with visualized metrics indicating trends and changes over the preceding 30-day period.

Connections Tab

Select the Connections tab to display a list of connections established in the current Thinfinity Workspace installation in the last 30 days. (The default time range can be expanded or reduced).

For each connection in the list, the following data is available: Profile Name, Host address, Source IP, Kind, Username, Star, End, Actions.

The panel to the right provides an overview of the total amount of connections and the evolution in the last 30 days.

Logins Tab

Select the Logins tab to display a list of logins performed in the current Thinfinity Workspace installation in the last 30 days. (The default time range can be expanded or reduced).

For each login in the list, the following data is available: Date and Time, User, Source IP, Message.

The panel to the right provides an overview of the total amount of logins and the evolution in the last 30 days.

Browsers Tab

Select the Browsers tab to display a list of browsers used to access the current Thinfinity Workspace installation in the last 30 days. (The default time range can be expanded or reduced).

For each browser in the list, the following data is available: User Agent, Sessions.

The panel to the right provides an overview of the used browsers distribution in the last 30 days.

File Transfers Tab

Select the File Transfers tab to display a list of file transfer operations performed in the current Thinfinity Workspace installation in the last 30 days. (The default time range can be expanded or reduced).

For each file transfer operation in the list, the following data is available: Date and Time, User, Source IP, Profile Name, and Action.

An overview of the evolution of the number of file transfers is displayed in a panel to the right of the page.

All data presented in all Audit Log pages can be exported in CSV or JSON formats using the corresponding Export button.

Export Data

The Export button is located in the main view of the Analytics main page (with red in the image above). This feature allows users to export the current analytics data to a file for external use. Data can be exported in JSON or CSV format, offering flexibility depending on the target application or workflow.
