Mappings Tab

The Mappings tab allows administrators to link different authentication systems with Active Directory.

By creating these mappings, you specify which profiles are accessible to users authenticating through OAuth 2.0 on their corresponding AD user or group associations.

To complete this process, map the desired Active Directory users or groups to the specific profiles you want to enable for a given OAuth 2.0 user. This ensures that authenticated users are presented with the appropriate profiles linked to their Active Directory identities.

To access mappings configuration settings, navigate to Configuration Manager>Authentication>Mappings.

Option	Description
Switch Base	Press to change the order in which the Authentication ID Mask and the Associated Permissions boxes will be shown. This doesn't affect the configuration, only the view.
Authentication ID Mask	Displays a list of remote users and allows the admin to perform different management operations.
Enabled	To disable access for a specific remote user, select the user and uncheck the Enabled field.
Add	To add a new remote user (SSO), if the Authentication ID Mask is above the Associated Permissions box, select it and add an associated permission. If below, the new remote user will be mapped to the selected Active Directory user.
Remove	Select a user and click Remove to delete the remote user from SSO authentication (if Authentication ID Mask is above Associated User/Group Access). This also removes mappings. If below, the user will be removed only from the mapping with the selected AD user/group.
Associated Permissions	Displays the current Active Directory users and groups and allows the admin to perform Active Directory Users and Groups Management.

In the Credentials tab, the following options are available:

Option	Description
Username	Stores a valid Windows username, which is utilized when employing external authentication and profiles that have Use the Authenticated Credentials option enabled.
Password	Stores the password for a valid Windows username. This is used in conjunction with external authentication and profiles that have Use the Authenticated Credentials option enabled
Test	Verifies the stored credentials.
Remove	Removes the stored credentials.
