Remote Authentication via Active Directory

As an active part of Directory Services, RemoteAD channels authentication requests to the remote domain controller. The RemoteAD service relays authentication requests, maintaining domain boundaries while granting users access to Thinfinity® Workspace.

Working with Remote Users

RemoteAD allows Thinfinity Workspace to treat users from a remote domain as members of the Thinfinity Workspace environment—without requiring mapping to local accounts.

Once Thinfinity Workspace has fully or partially integrated the remote AD user and group structure, it can manage these accounts by applying both general permissions — such as access to administrative sections and extensions like Cloud Manager and Audit Log— and permissions related to Access Profiles, including usage permissions and Resource Reservations workflow-specific roles, if needed.
