2.2.1 Installation Options

The Thinfinity® Workspace InstallShield Wizard provides the following installation options:

Option	Description
All Components	Installs all components on the same computer, recommended for evaluation and testing purposes.
Broker and HTML Services	Installs only the Broker and the HTML Services. As a stand-alone installation works together with the Reverse Gateway. In scaling and load balancing scenarios, several Broker and HTML Services installations work in parallel and register with one or several Gateways.
Reverse Gateway Only	Installs only the Reverse Gateway. Works together with one or more Broker and HTML Services installations. In scaling and load balancing configurations can work in parallel with several other Gateways.
Workspace Agent	Installs Thinfinity Workspace in Agent Mode. Provides remote desktop access or VirtualUI application delivery—depending on the configured mode.
