2.2.1 Download and Installation Process

For evaluation or testing purposes use the All-in-one installation mode to install all the components on a single machine.

To do that, follow the steps below. For additional role options, see Configuration Roles Options.

Download the Installer

Use the link you received from us or the Cybele Product Downloads page to download the installation package.

Run the Installer

Start the installation wizard on the target machine, choose the destination folder, and then run it.

Launch Thinfinity® Workspace

In the last step of the wizard select launch Thinfinity Workspace.

Set a Role for the Thinfinity Workspace Server

Thinfinity Workspace enables users to configure a node as a Gateway, Primary Broker, or Secondary Broker without needing separate installation packages for each role. By default, it operates in an All-in-One mode, allowing all components to run on a single server. However, roles can be adjusted to meet specific deployment needs.

There is an additional Thinfinity Workspace role called Agent Mode, which presents an alternative deployment model involving direct installation on the target machine. Learn more about it in the Virtualization Agent section.
