2.3.1 Accessing the Configuration Manager

The Configuration Manager is the central configuration interface used to set up and manage new installations. It allows administrators to define key system settings, configure user access, manage resources, and tailor deployment options for optimal performance and security.

How to Access the Configuration Manager

After installing Thinfinity® Workspace, to open the Configuration Manager:

• On the machine where Thinfinity Workspace is installed, open the Start menu and search for "Thinfinity Workspace Configuration Manager".

• Alternatively, navigate to the installation directory (typically "C:\Program Files\Thinfinity\Workspace\bin64") and run Thinfinity.ConfigMgr.exe.

Important

Ensure you run the .exe file as an administrator to access all configuration options.

Note

If you installed Thinfinity Workspace as a Reverse Gateway only, look for Thinfinity Gateway to bring up the Configuration Manager.
