6.1.3 External DLL

Thinfinity supports External DLL authentication, enabling organizations to use their custom identification systems.

For those clients using special identification rules not already covered by our built-in methods, we provide an authentication API. They can use this API to develop a custom DLL that queries their internal credentials databases. This integration allows for secure user authentication against an organization's existing security protocols, centralizing user management while accommodating specialized requirements.

Reference

Refer to the article How to Map Users from External Identity Providers to Newly Created Local or Domain Users for comprehensive configuration instructions related to this authentication method. Additional technical specifications, parameter descriptions, and user interface details are available in the External DLL Settings section of our reference documentation.
