The VNC/RFB Access Profile is used to connect to non-Windows systems or when cross-platform access is required. VNC (Virtual Network Computing) is a graphical desktop-sharing system that uses RFB (Remote Frame Buffer) protocol to remotely control another computer.
The VNC Access Profile offers enhanced performance and features optimized for Thinfinity® Workspace.
To create a VNC Access Profile and publish your remote non-Windows desktop, follow these steps:
Click on the New Profile button in the dashboard home page or alternatively, click the +Add button from the Access Profiles tab of the Settings menu.
Choose the desktop you want to publish:
This PC: Publishes the desktop of the current computer.
Another PC: Publishes the desktop of a different computer. In this case, you must also provide the target PC’s IP address and, optionally, a Broker Pool (depending on your deployment configuration).

Address
Creates a connection to a remote desktop using the IP address.
Managed VMs
Creates a connection to an existing VM.
VDI/DaaS Models
Creates a connection to a VDI model.
Disable the Allow Anonymous Access option and use the Add button to select the users and groups that will have access to the new Access Profile.

Note
Find users and groups link will only be available when working with Directory Services.
Reference
For details on how to configure access permissions, see Global Access Profiles Parameters, Access Control Settings and Labels.
The wizard guides you through the essential settings required for the connection to the target resource. Thinfinity Workspace automatically assigns default values for the remaining parameters. To customize these settings, open the Edit menu of the Access Profile from the three vertical dots as shown below.
Reference
For more information, see VNC Core Settings and VNC User Experience Settings.

Click Commit to apply the configured connection parameters.
If you are defining only one profile, you can use Commit right after configuring all the desired parameters.
If you are defining several profiles or complex profile configurations, use Commit after you have everything in place.
