Application Access Profiles

Application Access Profiles provide tailored access to specific applications within a remote environment. The Access Profile defines the type of application being delivered and the method of access, whether it's through a full remote desktop session or by streaming a single application directly to the user's device.

• A Remote App Access Profile provides cross-platform remote access technology, enabling secure delivery of Windows applications directly to any device via a web browser.

• Two types of Web App Access Profiles are available:

  • Web Link, which provides access to a public online application, and

  • Intranet Web App (or WAG), which provides access to a remote intranet application in a private domain.

• A VirtualUI Access Profile allows connecting to an application whose UI has been virtualized using of the Cybele proprietary technology, Thinfinity® VirtualUI. For details on VirtualUI integrations, see this section in our online Knowledge Base.
