3.2.3 Add-ons (Modules)
Resource Reservation
The Resource Reservation feature allows administrators or users to allocate and reserve specific resources for dedicated use during a set period of time. This ensures that the reserved resources are available exclusively for the specified user or task, preventing conflicts or over-usage during high-demand periods. For details, see Enabling Resource Reservation.
Cloud Manager
Cloud Manager allows administrators to access, create, and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) by hosting desktop environments on a centralized server. Cloud Manager supports provisioning, scaling, starting, stopping, and deallocating VMs hosted on renowned cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, IONOS, Oracle Cloud, Proxmox, VMware, and HyperV, all accessible via the Thinfinity portal. Cloud Manager allows users to access their desktops on any device, regardless of their geographic location. For details, see the Cloud Manager Product Manual.
Analytics
The Analytics feature allows assigned users to view historical data regarding logins, sessions, browsers, and connections established within the server in a given period of time. For details, see Analytics.
Brokers Monitor
For installations with several brokers, this feature allows the admin to monitor and manage the remote desktop brokers to ensure a smooth and efficient environment. Drain Down allows the automatic stopping and disabling of a broker when the last user logs out. It's useful to secure a disconnection or an order when shutting down, avoiding abrupt service interruptions. For details, see Brokers Monitor.
Audit Log
As part of the RPAM system, the Audit Log feature allows administrators to track user activity across the platform for enhanced security and compliance. These logs capture detailed information about user access, session activity, and any changes made within the system, ensuring comprehensive visibility into platform usage. For details, see Audit Log.
Recordings
Also, part of the RPAM features, the Recordings add-on allows administrators to review recorded user sessions for security, compliance, and training purposes. The remote session recording feature tracks all user interactions during remote sessions, offering a complete audit trail of activity, including keystrokes, mouse movements, and screen changes.
Administrators can access recordings to investigate suspicious activity and ensure adherence to security policies. Recorded sessions can be stored securely and played back for analysis, enabling real-time monitoring or post-session reviews to enhance operational oversight. For details, see Recordings.
Members
This feature is related to the Thinfinity IdP functionality and allows the system administrators to manage members - users or groups. Each member has a unique ID, a name, and a status as parameters. For details, see Members.
Reports
The Reports add-on allows administrators to generate and customize insightful reports about your environment, including IDs, Access keys, Pool names, etc. These reports can help admins to improve the efficiency of remote systems and identify areas for optimization. For details, see Reports.
