Monitoring
The Monitoring Dashboard is the main page where you can find all the metrics related to the various Thinfinity® Workspace components: Gateways, Brokers, Services, Agents, Connections, and Sessions. Each component in Monitoring has its own dedicated tab, allowing for a segmented view of the metrics for each one. Each of the following sections provides details about the tabs corresponding to each component.

The following table describes the metrics available for monitoring Domain Gateway.
Gateways
Total number of Gateways in the current Thinfinity Workspace installation.
Computer
Name of the device where the Gateway is installed.
Process ID
Internal ID of the Gateway process.
Version
Version of the Thinfinity Workspace installaton.
URL
Public access URL of the Gateway.
Memory
Amount of memory used by the computer.
CPU
CPUs used by the computer.
System Mem
Amount of memory used by the computer in percentage (%).
System CPU
Percentage of CPU capacity used by the Gateway services.
Metrics Dashboard
Clicking this icon will display the Metrics Dashboard.

The following table describes the metrics available for monitoring Domain Brokers.
Brokers
Total number of Brokers in the current Thinfinity Workspace installation.
Computer
Name of the device hosting the Broker.
Process ID
Internal ID of the Broker process.
Version
Installed Broker software version.
Pool
Only for Secondary Brokers, name of the pool to which the Broker belongs (if Broker Pools have been defined in the current installation).
Clients
Number of (Thinfinity Workspace Desktop) clients running on the Broker.
Nodes
Number of nodes attached to the Broker.
Memory
Amount of memory used by the computer.
CPU
CPUs used by the computer.
System Mem
Amount of memory used by the computer in percentage (%).
System CPU
Percentage of CPU capacity used by the Gateway services.
Metrics Dashboard
Clicking this icon will display the Metrics Dashboard.
Drain a Broker
Drain functionality allows the automatic stopping and automatic disabling of a Broker when the last user is logged out. It's useful to secure a disconnection or an order when shutting down, avoiding abrupt service interruptions.
To activate the function: select the Broker then click on the Drain button from the three dots menu at the top right of the tab.


The following table describe the metrics available for monitoring the services running on the server.
Name
Running service name.
Computer
Computer name where service is running.
Process ID
Internal ID of the process.
Version
Installed Thinfinity Workspace version.
Registered on
URL of the Gateway where the service registered, registration date and timestamp.
Memory
Amount of memory used by the service in percentage (%).
CPU
Percentage of CPU capacity used by the service.
Metrics Dashboard
Clicking this icon will display the Metrics Dashboard.

The following table describe the metrics available for monitoring Agent's workload.
Agent ID
Unique identifier for an Agent.
Computer
Name of the device where Agent is hosted.
Process ID
Internal ID of the Agent process.
Version
Installed Agent software version.
Pool
Name of the pool to which the Agent belongs.
Registered on
URL of the Gateway where the service registered, registration date and timestamp.
Memory
Amount of memory used by the computer in percentage (%).
CPU
Percentage of CPU capacity used by the Agent services.
Metrics Dashboard
Clicking this icon will display the Metrics Dashboard.

The total number of live connections is displayed together with the number of Brokers and Clients.
For each Connection/Access Profile the following data is presented.
Profile Name
Name of the Access Profile being used.
Username
Username of the account using the access profile.
From
The Broker name, the computer name and IP from where the connection is initiated.
Source
Possible values Browser or (Desktop) Client.
Started At
The date and timestamp when the Access Profile was accessed.

The following table describe the metrics available for monitoring users connected through the network.
Username
Username of the session running in Thinfinity Workspace.
Logged on user
User to whom the username is mapped.
Logged on at
Date and time when the user logged in.
Kill Session
Close the active user's session.
Metrics Dashboard
Shows each metric on an XY chart and provides exploration tools for each individual metric, including the possibility to download the chart in SVG, PNG or CSV formats.

Refetch Interval
Refetch of the information displayed in the chart.
From
Start date of the interval.
To
End date of the interval.
Refresh
Refresh the incoming data in case of failure.
Process Memory Usage
Memory usage chart over time.
Process CPU Usage
CPU usage chart over time.
System Memory/CPU Usage
Memory-to-CPU usage ratio.
Real-Time Metrics
Amount of memory and CPU used by the computer in percentage (%).
