VirtualUI App Access Profile

Thinfinity® VirtualUI is a robust development platform designed to enable the transformation of Windows desktop applications into web-based solutions with minimal code changes. At the core of this technology is a proprietary DLL that developers can integrate directly into their applications. This DLL injects a virtualization layer into the software, allowing it to run in HTML5-compatible web browsers, and extending its accessibility across various platforms such as Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices.

Once the integration phase has been finalized you can create a VirtualUI access profile to connect to the virtualized application.

To access the VirtualUI Access Profile settings, navigate to Configuration Manager>Access Profiles then click Add and select VirtualUI. Alternatively, double click an VirtualUI access profile from the list or select it and click Edit.

Option	Description
Name	The name of the access profile. Edit if applicable.
Virtual Path	By default, Thinfinity creates a unique URL address for the current connection. If you want to customize it, make sure your address is unique and web compatible and that it has the following format: http(s)://ThinfinityDomain:port/VirtualPath/. You can then create a web shortcut for this specific connection and bypass the Thinfinity® Workspace web interface.
Home Page	Choose the customized HTML page for the application.
Access Key	An automatically generated key that uniquely identifies the access profile. When working with One Time URLs (OT URL) it is used in conjunction with other parameters to grant access to the profile. New Key	Generates a new Access Key.
Label(s)	Access profiles can be organized in groups (labels) for which you can collectively manage the permissions settings. This field shows the names of the groups (or labels) that the current profile is a part of. For details, see Label.
Select Label	Prompts you to select an existing Label for this specific profile.
Visible	By default, the access profile is visible, modify if needed.
Default profile	If checked, the Thinfinity Workspace home page will be skipped, and you will be connected directly to this profile.
Open in new tab	If selected, opens the access profile in a new tab of your browser.
