4.2 The Access Profile Wizard

The Access Profile Wizard functions as a helper for administrators or privileged users, allowing them to create and configure access profiles from the Thinfinity® Workspace Web Manager. It guides you step by step through the basic configuration stage, where only the essential parameters are required for the Access Profile to initiate a connection.

The steps of the wizard allow:

  • Selecting the available connection category: Desktop, Applications, Web Folder, and Terminals.

  • Choosing the connection type (e.g., RDP, VNC, or Thinfinity VNC).

  • Specifying the connection host.

  • (For application profiles) Entering the Web Application Gateway URL and selecting the working mode.

  • Setting authentication parameters.

  • Defining permissions.

  • Naming the profile.

Once these core settings are defined, you can further customize the profile using its Settings menu.
