Local Thinfinity IdP Settings

Thinfinity® Workspace can function as an IdP, allowing centralized management of user access and permissions within the platform.

You can create Thinfinity user accounts and then map them with external user accounts.

To access the associated parameters, select Configuration Manager>Authentication>Directory Services and click Add then select Thinfinity IdP.

The following parameters are available for a Thinfinity user account:

Name

By default, this field is filled in with the name of the selected authentication method. Modify is applicable.

Administrator Credentials Username/Password

Set a name and a password for the Thinfinity user account. For security reasons, avoid using "administrator" as a username.

An existing Thinfinity user account can be mapped/linked/associated with an external account using the following parameters.

Description

Account/Account ID

The ID of the domain that will be created in Thinfinity Workspace. Unique identification value.

Name/ Account Name

The name of the new Domain you are creating. It works as a label.

Status

The status of the defined mapping can be Active, Inactive, Pending, or Locked.
