Booking a Resource

To book a resource (an access profile) for exclusive use:

1. In Thinfinity® Workspace home page: Click on user profile icon to display the user menu and select Resource Reservation.

1. In the Resource Reservation main page: Click New Resource Request (upper right corner) to launch the resource booking wizard. Select Me and click Next.

1. In the next step of the wizard a list of resources available for booking is presented. Select the resource(s) you want to book then click Next.

1. In the next step of the wizard, select the date and the time when you want to book the resource then click Next.

Note that you will only be able to request a booking during the time interval for which the resource has been made available. For details, see the Access Hours in the Access Control Settings section.

To request a recurrent booking, select Recurrent: Aditional options become available. Select a period, the day(s) and the time interval for the recurrent booking. Use Add Schedule to request several recurring bookings then click Next.

1. In the next step of the wizard, enter a name for the request, fill in a reason and check the details (the resource name, the date and the time of the booking) then click Next.

1. The resource booking wizard is finished and a confirmation message is displayed.

2. Once the request is approved, the resource will be displayed as in the following image. Clicking the booking icon in the lower right corner of the resource will display a list of all the booking requests made by the current user for that resource, and their status.
