Thinfinity® Gateway

Thinfinity Gateway allows the configuration of the gateway options such as Bindings, SSL/TLS Certificates, and redirection URL.

Thinfinity Gateway contains two main tabs as shown in the image below:

General Tab

The General tab offers access to the options described below:

Option	Description
Bindings	Displays a list of bindings defined for the current Gateway installation in order to access this server's resources.
Add/ Edit/ Remove	Allow adding, editing or removing a new binding to/from the Gateway Bindings list.
Browse	Navigates to the selected binding.
Enable external access in Windows Firewall	Adds the currently configured bindings on the Windows Firewall exception list. This is mandatory for certain Windows Firewall configurations.
Remove Server response header	Removes headers from the Thinfinity® Workspace response.
Network ID	Identifies the current installation. Thinfinity Workspace servers that want to share their resources through one or more Gateway must match their Network ID. Click to see and/or change the Network ID. The default value is a random string but it can be modified to something more descriptive.

Protection Tab

The Protection tab offers access to the options described below:

Option	Description
Allow Forwarding Headers	Allows reporting proxies through which the request passed using the conventional headers X-Forwarded-For, X-Real-IP, and Forwarded
Enable brute force detection	Enables brute force protection measures
Allow list	Determines the allowed IPs that can connect to Thinfinity® Workspace
Deny list	Determines the IPs that are blocked from connecting to Thinfinity Workspace

The top menu of the Thinfinity Gateway tool offers the following options:

File Menu

Option	Description
Language	Allows selecting a language for the options available in Thinfinity Gateway.
Show Log	Displays the Thinfinity Gateway log.
Apply	Applies changes to the configuration.
Close	Closes the Thinfinity Gateway.
Customize Translation	Allows customizing the UI translation. For details, see Customize Translation.

Help Menu

The Help menu offers the following options:

Option	Description
Help	Opens the latest version of the manual.
About	Offers access to the application version and build number.
