Granting Access Permissions for a Group of Access Profiles
Access permissions for groups of access profiles are managed by means of the Label feature. Labels allow the admin to group the access profiles into complex hierarchies according to each company's needs. For details, see Label.
First, group all the access profiles where you want to grant access under a label. For details on how to do that, see Grouping Access Profiles Under a Label.
To grant a user access to a group of access profiles:
Navigate to Thinfinity Configuration Manager>Access Profiles tab, select the label containing the access profiles where you want to grant access and click Edit.
In the Edit Label dialog window navigate to the Permissions tab.
If you defined nested Labels, de-select Inherit label access permissions to make sure the access permissions for the current label are not overridden by Labels on the upper levels. For details, see Label.
Click Add to select the user to whom you want to grant access to the current label.
In the Select Users or Groups dialog window select the user(s) and/or the groups to whom you want to grant access to the current label and click OK.
In the Permissions tab of the Edit Label dialog window the selected user(s) and/or groups will be added to the list of groups and/or users who have access to the profiles under the current label and will automatically be associated to the [Access] permissions group. Click OK.
Remember to click Apply in Thinfinity Configuration Manager to implement the changes.
For details on permissions groups (roles), see Role Definition - Permissions Groups.
