Session Recording
The session recording feature allows administrators to record all the actions a user performs while connected to an access profile.
To enable the session recording for an access profile:
In Configuration Manager navigate to Access Profiles tab, select the access profile.
In the profile editor, the Advanced tab, select Record remote desktop session.
Then, make sure to press Apply in the Configuration Manager to implement the changes.
Alternatively, in Thinfinity® Workspace home page:
Navigate to the access profile where you want to enable the session recording, click the three-dot button and select Edit.
In the Advanced tab, select the Record remote desktop session option then click Save.
Back to Thinfinity® Workspace home page, click Commit to implement the changes.
To allow a specific user to access recorded sessions:
In Configuration Manager select the Permissions tab, then select the user and check the Can play saved sessions option. Once this feature is enabled, the user will be able to access the Recordings add-on in the Web Manager.
In Configuration Manager, make sure to click Apply to implement the changes.
Sessions are recorded in a lightweight format and stored for each user. Also, they will be available from any HTML5 enabled browser in the Recordings page of the Web Manager only for the user with the appropriate permissions.
An administrator can have permission to view either sessions recorded by them or by other users in the same Thinfinity® Workspace server. For details, see Permissions tab.
