Remote Intranet Web App Connection
What Is WAG?
Web Application Gateway (WAG) is a secure bridge that connects end users to web-based applications or intranet sites through an HTML5 browser interface, eliminating the need for client-side software. Acting as an SSL reverse proxy, it provides secure access via a TLS 1.3 encrypted tunnel, protecting internal servers by handling SSL decryption and ensuring secure connections without exposing the server’s IP address. It also serves as a modern alternative to traditional VPNs, enhancing accessibility and security.
