10.2.3 IP Filtering and Access Control Lists (ACLs)

Thinfinity® Workspace includes, among its security features, the ability to filter devices accessing the network.

In the Security menu, under the Threat Prevention section, you will find two IP Filtering lists: an Allow List and a Deny List.

Usage Examples

  • Allow access only from the corporate network: You can configure the Allow List to include only the IP addresses from the company’s internal network, restricting access from any other sources.

  • Block suspicious countries or IP ranges: In the Deny List, you can add IP ranges or specific addresses from countries or regions with high malicious activity, thus blocking access from those locations.

  • Authorize specific partners or remote sites: By using the Allow List, you can grant exclusive access to certain partners or remote sites that need to interact with Thinfinity Workspace, ensuring that only authorized devices can connect.
